How to Hide Your Photos & Videos on WhatsApp

How to Hide Your Photos & Videos on WhatsApp: Many times it happens that when your smartphone goes to someone else you are in a strange situation, especially due to the photos and videos in the phone gallery. Like if you have given a friend your smartphone to click the photograph. After clicking on the photo, your friend goes to the gallery, where all the personal photos and videos are seen on the Whatsapp and this situation is very strange. But now to avoid this embarrassment, there is a new feature in WhatsApp.

Now the Media Visibility Feature has rollout for every chat in the Whatsapp Android app. Please note that earlier this feature came on Android Apps Beta App 2.18.159. But in the past few months it was not seen in the revision version of the app. With the help of this feature, Whatsapp users can hide or show the Whatsapp media content in the phone's gallery.

For the new feature, you need to download the Whatsapp beta version 2.18.194. Earlier this month a new Beta version of Whatsapp was labeled in forwarded message. Facebook's proprietary company has recently started group video and voice calling for all Android beta users.
Before that, in the General Settings menu, the data and storage usage got the option of media visibility. But this time Whatsapp has made the Media Visibility feature available in Contact Info and Group Info.

This means that if you want to hide a photo you downloaded in your phone's gallery, then you have to go to contact info first. After this, no need to select by pressing on the Media Visibility option. But if you want to hide the existing download media in your gallery from any group, then you have to tap into the Media Info option, tap on the Media Visibility option. It is worth noting that downloaded photos and media visibility features are only enabled for both the contact and group.

Prior to this, the Media Viewability feature was available in Whatsapp beta version 2.18.194, which concealed and displayed the downloaded media content from all the contacts in the gallery. However, as we mentioned earlier, WhatsAppSpeat removed it quietly.

According to WABetaInfo's report, the Media Visibility Feature is available for all users of Whatsapp app beta version 2.18.194. An updated version of Whatsapp Beta can be downloaded from the Google Play Beta program. In addition, you can also download the APK file and APK mirror.
