Times Internet buys MX Player for Rs 1,000 crore, Now you could watch Live Videos: Times Internet has bought the most popular video player app MX Player in the country. Mx Player is the world's largest video playing app. South Korea's MX Player App deals in this Rs 1,000 crore. Let us say that there are 350 million or 35 Crore users in India only.

After this MX Player deal with Times Internet, this app will be converted into a video streaming app i.e. in this app you have just watched only the videos that were downloaded and recorded, but now you can download this app on Cricket Match, Film and Serial will also be able to see

While the MX player has yet to compete with the VLC player, its competition will now be with apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar and Woot. It is not clear whether the video content will have to be paid on Mx Player like other apps.

It is worth mentioning that since the year 2012, the MX Player on Google Play Store has consistently been in the list of Top 10 apps. Now this app has become available for iOS and the web except for Android.
