➱ First open your Gmail Account and Go Setting>General

➱ Now scroll down and stay at the My Picture option. 

➱ Here you'll found two option with

☉ Visible to everyone

☉ Visible only to people I can't chat with

⇨ Now tick on the second option (Visible only to people I can't chat with) and scroll down the page below until the end of page ends.

Here click on the save change button. and now your profile picture invisible from others eyes, only the peoples who can make chat with you, can see your picture. If you want, you can also change your profile picture from here by clicking on Change Picture.
