Nokia 5.1 Plus Said to Sport a Notched Display and MediaTek Helio P23 Processor

Just a few days ago, HMD Global launched the Nokia 5.1 smartphone and now the rumors are coming out that the company is working on the upgraded version of the device Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone. Two reports seen on the Internet reveal the device's designs and specifications. Speaking of design, Nokia 5.1 will follow Nokia X6 in terms of design, because this device also has a bigger navigational display on top. Also, the design of the device is quite similar to X6. The Nokia 5.1 Plus will have a dual rear camera and a rear fingerprint sensor with which Nokia's branding can be seen just below.

These CAD Renders have been leaked by OnLeaks. The same tutor disclosed the CAD render of Nokia 8 Sirocco in October 2017, while the device was launched in February. Therefore these riders may be correct, but it can not be said that when HMD Global launches this device.

Speaking of dimensions, the Nokia 5.1 Plus includes 8mm thickness (which includes the rear camera bump). This smartphone will have a 5.7-inch 19: 9 display which comes with full HD resolution. These are CAD Renders, which are shared by OnLeaks, so the smartphone's final design can be different. The USB Type-C port in the device's bottom is also revealed from the renders.
According to the Nokibar report, the Nokia 5.1 Plus mid-range chipset will be powered by MediaTek Helio P23, which has been seen in devices such as Oppo F5 and Tecno Camon i Click etc.

It is interesting to see that in which markets HMD will launch the Global 5.1 Plus, but it may be that this device is not launched in India, instead Nokia X6 can be launched in the country. There is no device in Nokia's 20,000 to 25,000 ($370) segment in India, so it is possible that Nokia's device will also be available in this segment with Nokia X6 launch.
